JANUARY 2000

And so the project continues. I won't be posting anymore to it apart from some updated photos. I think its getting a bit too long a saga now. But it was fun doing it and continues to be. Below is the gazebo that I normally decorate for Christmas but somehow it doesn't seem right to pull down the decorations and so they'll stay. Friends have suggested I set up a crystal ball on the table and start readings! It wasn't supposed to look like a gypsy tent but I guess I have some destiny with that sort of thing. We had Christmas lunch in the gazebo again this year, prawns and oysters, lots of salads and plenty of wine. It was yet another fine Christmas day and I won't deny I enjoy having people over to sit amongst my Springwood Sanctuary. They all seem to enjoy the ambience of the place too and like taking photos around it. It is a close second to the amount of pleasure it gives me, seeing people enjoy it as much as I do. It makes it worth the work.

The gazebo has attracted the next door neighbours white wisteria tree and it's managed to climb around it quite a lot in the past few weeks. So hopefully next Christmas I may not need to hang any Christmas decorations in there at all, I'll have my own natural ones draping over the table.

My little friend Lucy recently went into making naked ladies the same size as the ones I'd been buying, so here is one from her. She's a lovely girl with two great jugs, in her hands I mean.

Frank, my husband, and I, celebrated our 20th anniversary in December, and this is part of what he bought for me, by request. A marble chip bench which was bought from the other place I buy my statues. Those statues, including Cleo, Jezebel and Aphrodite are all made from marble chip. The birdbath and bird are from Lucy's.
