As instrumental music teachers we are finding increasingly that even primary school students are stressed. Between juggling homework and outside school activities, finding time for practice can really be diffcult. We believe that if practice can be made to be fun it can be a part of the student’s playtime instead of another daily chore to be fitted in. We also appreciate that parents are very grateful when motivation for practice comes from the child. Practicing alone can be tedious but time flies when you’re jamming with a groovy backing.Our own students have been using these jazzy accompaniments with tremendous success.
