About the Author

Tim Trewartha is a 30 year old writer from Melbourne. He has published three books since becoming a professional writer in 2003. His brain is full of crazy ideas and hare-brained schemes that are desperate to find their way onto the written page. Various people have described his two novels for children, “Secret of the Sphinx” and “Mirrors of Casalasandria” as “rather good”. “A Rekindling of Spirit ” is Tim’s first attempt at writing a comic series. He hopes people enjoy it. He is also developing an animated sci-fi series for TV called “The Wolf”.

About the Illustrator

Katy Barnett is an illustrator who has been known to work as lawyer by day (seriously!). She has a keen interest in a variety of different media, including etching, drawing, painting and pastel. Katy and Tim decided to collaborate in producing “A Rekindling of Spirit ” after she illustrated the cover of Tim’s third book “Mirrors of Casalasandria” and they discovered they had they same sick sense of humour. She is married with a daughter.
