ParishTo Australia from Caldecote, Cambridgeshire, England
Elizabeth Parish
Elizabeth may be the daughter of Jonas Parish and his wife, Ann - baptized 16th July 1773. At 17 years of age, she gave birth to a son, Smith Parish.
Smith Parish & Ann
Smith Parish was baptized at Saint Michael's, Caldecote on the 5th August, 1792, the bastard son of Elizabeth Parish. Ann - census entries indicate that Ann was born Ireland about 1794. A marriage has not been located for Smith and Ann. Known children, baptisms at St Michael's, Caldecote.
William - Showing as born Caldecote about 1835 in the 1871 census, a soldier stationed in Hampshire. So where was he in 1841? if not a son, then he is a cousin. Smith died aged 66, in 1855. Ann died in 1869.

Emily Britten was born 9th of June 1872, at Port MacDonnell, South Australia - the fourth child of thirteen born in Joseph Britten's first marriage with Mary Ellen Hunter.
William and Emily married on the 18th of February, 1891. I am not certain where this marriage took place, in Willenabrina or Horsham, but both are in Victoria. William became a farmer at 'Green Park' between Horsham and Willenabrina.
