Russell Family
|
George and Ruth Russell George Russell was said to born in the north eastern area of New South Wales, more specifically around Coonamble, in the late 1850s. Evidence of his early beginnings just doesn't exist. George himself never spoke of family and so his own children knew very little. The Russell men were known for their great skill as stockmen, a trade that was handed down through the generations. The Russell's and later generations worked hard while roaming the outback and they survived the hard nature of life.
