The Kennedy Family originated from Laois County formerly known as Queens County in Ireland. It is likely that the family were descendants of the Tipperary clan. Some even suggest a connection with the late President of the United States, John F Kennedy. The existence of four children (Michael, Robert, Anne and John) to James and Bridget Kennedy have been verified. However, there is further information to suggest that there could have possibly been another three girls (Mary, Catherine and Margaret) who remained in Ireland.
