Crain Family
|
Thomas and Matilda Crain The Crain family originated from Kilskeery in Tyrone County, Northern Ireland. Thomas and Matilda Crain were one of the first pioneering families to settle in Mount Adrah, Australia around the mid-1800s. The family worked exceptionally hard but also enjoyed life to the fullest. Their wild pranks earned them the name of "those lunatic Crain's from Mount Adrah". Mr E K Geaghan was the first member of the family to take an interest and it's thanks to his labour of love that much of the family history has been documented. Today, with more information available, we find that three members of the family made the journey to a new land.
