There are many other beautiful beaches, such as Shelly, Manly, Queenscliff, Harbord, Freshwater, Collaroy, Narrabeen, Warriewood, Bungan, Newport, Bilgola, Avalon, Whale, and Palm Beach that are suitable for weddings.

Getting married!

Not all marriage celebrants are authorized to perform either a religious or civil ceremony in the place of the couple's choosing. This couple chose to be married at Watson's Bay Park. Sydney has many beautiful parks, many with fantastic ocean and water views, that are ideal venues for weddings. As well as Watsons Bay there's the Royal Botanic Gardens, Observatory Hill, Hickson Road Reserve, Dawes Point Reserve, Hyde Park, McKell Park, Ruscutters Bay Park, Robertson Park, Centennial Park, Elkington Park, Yurulbin Reserve, Thornton Park, Petersham Park, Bradfield Park, Bradley’s Head, Cremorne Point, Balmoral Beach, Camellia Gardens, Caringbah, Cronulla Beach, Rockdale Park and Darook Park. Many of these venues have rotundas or bandstands that are suitable for use in wet weather when wedding parties are small, as well as providing interesting backgrounds for wedding photographs at other times.
