The Easyrider Bus
Easyrider Backpacker Tours operate an Jump On Jump
of service around the southwest of Western Australia. You can buy a
ticket valid for 3 months and then get off and back on again at any
town along the route. For around $200 this is an excellent way to see
the rest of this corner of the state at a reasonable cost, and take in
this tour en route. The buses usually run 3 times per week so it's easy to
get off at Denmark and pick the bus up again in Albany.
It's big
advantage over the TransWA coach is that it takes in so many of the sites
in between the towns. The bus will take 3 days to tour around the
southwest, and each day it takes you to all the scenic spots and
attractions. So if you are not in a hurry, this is a great option.
Flying Here
There are 3 air services which serve the
Albany/Denmark area. Skywest Airlines have regular daily flights from
Perth to Albany Airport. In Denmark Ashburton Air
Services and Denmark Air Taxi
run charter air services from Denmark Airport which
can transport you around the region and Perth.
