This truck was originally a Truck, 6 Seater Utility, ARN 61445. Post war it was cut down by a farmer and a fuel tank was fitted on the rear. I acquired the truck from a farmer near my home town of Kulin, Western Australia. I got it running again about two hours after I got it back to my workshop. The engine ran like a clock having been rebuilt only about 20 years before and not having done much work since then. The wooden frame of the original rear bodywork has been both eaten by termites and burnt in a rubbish tip. |

I partly stripped the truck down and fitted an old Landrover tray to the rear. I used the C15 as a yard truck around my workshop for a couple of years until the engine started to miss badly. I discovered that the engine had a couple of stuck valves so I pulled it out to repair it but got no further than that and the truck got pushed into a corner of the yard. |

I got this truck from a bloke in Perth in mid 2004. It has a very rusty cab and the chassis has been cut but it will supply some much needed suspension parts as well as some other fittings. It also came with a bonus Ford F15 cab. I also have the remains of several other C15s which will donate plenty of parts to the project |

This is the front left hand spring hanger on my C15 chassis. It has been severely worn awayby the rear eye of the spring rubbing on it after the truck had broken it's spring shackle. To find out how I repaired it, go here! |

This is the cab sitting on stands in my workshop. Most of the cab has been stripped and primed. I am now assembling it, carrying out any repairs needed as I go. Most of the repairs have involved drilling out broken bolts from the captive nuts. In those cases where I have not been able to drill and re-tap the captive nuts, I have replaced them by welding in steel blocks tapped to the nut size. When I am satisfied that the cab is complete, I will strip it down again, paint it and then store it until I am ready to fit it to the chassis. |
