Why Austrian economics?
Only the Austrian school of economic thought offers
plausible explanations for our current economic and social ills.
Unfortunately, most conservative intellectuals - especially those in Australia -
are completely unaware of this very important branch of economics and its
broader political corollary, libertarianism.
In a nutshell, Austrian economics stands for the following principles:
We are sinking into yet another recession caused by loose monetary policy, while
both sides of the Australian political spectrum lurch towards populist
socialism. There has never been a better time to become acquainted with
economic theory that explodes the blatant fallacies that pass for intellectual
debate in this country.
