Kit's Encounters with Black Caps

Melbourne, January 1998
Kit and Sash are awakened to the joys of New Zealand cricket, and by chance stay in the team's hotel the next day.

Carringbah, Sydney, October 1998
Kit and Sash go to their first New Zealand match, against NSW.

Wellington, January 1999
Kit and Sash go to New Zealand and once again encounter the Black Caps in a hotel.

Brisbane, August 2000
Kit and Sash fly to Brisbane where they meet Roger Twose and almost have the Black Caps to themselves.

Wellington, December 2000
Two years later, Kit and Sash return to the Wellington Parkroyal. So do the Black Caps.

Auckland, January 2001
Kit and Sash meet Dion Nash at a Shell Trophy match.

Canberra, October 2001
Kit and Sash spend three days in very close proximity to the Black Caps at Manuka Oval. This recount is very long, simply because there was so much to say!

Bowral, January 2002
Kit and Sash go to Don Bradman's birthplace to see New Zealand demolish an Australian Country XI.

Sydney, February 2002
It's finals time and the Black Caps come to Sydney where Kit and Sash spot them wearing some interesting outfits, from bright shirts and backwards berets to very little at all!

Sydney, September 2002
The Black Caps are back in Sydney for four warm-up games en route to the ICC Championship in Sri Lanka, and Kit is lucky enough to attend three.

Hamilton and Napier, December 2002
Kit and Sash are in New Zealand again, doing the usual rounds of hotels and practice sessions.

Wellington, December 2003
More fun with hotel elevators, silly T-shirts and a dreary Boxing Day Test!

Sydney, December 2004
The Black Caps' lower order put up a good fight in the second Chappell-Hadlee match.
