Marshalling age

12 yrs old and under
Electric marshalling - only permitted with adult/parent.
Gas marshalling - not permitted.

 

Crystal requirements

All drivers MUST have at least 2 sets of crystals - preferably 3 sets.
27, 29, and 40mhz only

 

Practice sessions

All drivers MUST check the frequency board BEFORE switching on their radios and vehicles for practice.
For safety and fairness, these practice times shall be adhered to...
Prior to 8 am OPEN
subject to frequency board
8:00am to 8:15am Elec only
8:15am to 8:30am Gas only
8:30am to 8:45am Elec only
8:45am to 9:00am Gas only
9:00am track closes
All drivers to be considerate and leave track at the appropriate time.

It is the responsiblity of all drivers to have read and understood ALL rules and conditions.

Australian Sports Commission - Ethics in Sport - Code of Behaviour

 

BDR expects all participants to follow this Code of Behaviour

 

Operate within the rules and spirit of your sport, promoting fair play over winning at any cost.

Encourage and support opportunities for people to learn appropriate behaviours and skills.

Support opportunities for participation in all aspects of the sport.

Treat each person as an individual.

Display control and courtesy to all involved with the sport.

Respect the rights and worth of every person regardless of their gender, ability, cultural background or religion.

Respect the decisions of officials, coaches and administrators in the conduct of the sport.

Wherever practical, avoid unaccompanied and unobserved one-on-one activity (when in a supervisory capacity or where a power imbalance will exist) with people under the age of 18 years.

Adopt appropriate and responsible behaviour in all interactions.

Adopt responsible behaviour in relation to alcohol and other drugs.

Act with integrity and objectivity, and accept responsibility for your decisions and actions.

Ensure your decisions and actions contribute to a safe environment.

Ensure your decisions and actions contribute to a harassment free environment.

Do not tolerate harmful or abusive behaviours.
