John Moore married Mary Collinson on 18 October 1819. They had at least two sons John Richard Moore born 18 January 1826 and baptized on 12 February 1826, and a younger brother Henry Moore born on 27 November 1828 and baptized on 21 December 1828. John Moore's trade was listed as shoemaker. At this time there does not appear to be any other siblings. On their marriage certificate both John Moore and Mary Collinson signed with this a X mark. This would indicate that they were illiterate.
I have no further information on John Moore or Mary Collinson.
John Richard Moore was the first son of John Moore and Mary Collinson. He was born on 18 January 1826 in London, England.
Arrival in Australia
Mr. J Moore arrived on the ship the "Sultana". The master of the Sultana was Richard Langford which left London on the 6th of November 1845 and arrived in Sydney on the 13th February 1846. The ship carried general cargo and two cabin passengers and three in steerage, one of the three in steerage was Mr. J Moore. The records give no further information on Mr. J Moore. But his death certificate shows that he died in 1894 and that he was about 48 years in Australia. This would mean that he would have arrived in 1846. I have not been able to find any other information on a Mr. J. Moore arriving in Australia in that year. Therefore I have assumed that he and John Richard Moore is the same person.

Ferguson Edington on 09 August 1949 in Sydney. They had two children
John Edington Moore and
Louisa Jane Moore. Anna was buried on 03 March
1854, the date of death was not listed. It all the other death certificates that
I have would indicate that she would have died the previous day 02 March 1854.
