Welcome to the AlphaSpy web site. What is AlphaSpy I hear you ask? It is an extremely lightweight Half-Life and Half-Life mod server monitor and connector. Oh, and it is completely free with no strings attached.
Its single purpose is to use as little resources as possible while giving the user the ability to monitor multiple servers, view vital information, as well as the ability to join the server.
To learn more about AlphaSpy, as well as see some screen shots, the help file that comes with AlphaSpy contains more information about what it is and what it is not.

07 Jan 03 - AlphaSpy 1.4 is released. Copy and paste server:ip into add/edit server window. Copy server address to clipboard from menu. Estimated ping to the server is displayed in the main server information window. Made clear separations between server/buddy/main areas of the screen. Fixed error with passworded servers. "Connect As..." allows a user to connect to a server with a specified name. Right mouse pop up menu within the server list and buddy list. Improved "Refresh All" command. Still unsure about the doubling of servers/buddy's. It's fine for me though.
28 Dec 02 - AlphaSpy 1.3 is released. Buddy list! Also, lots of little improvements and optimizations. And its still under 70 KB to download!
26 Dec 02 - AlphaSpy 1.2 is released. Window is re-sizable (and it remembers your window position next time you load AlphaSpy). AlphaSpy now displays the modification that you're monitoring. Various memory optimizations. Dropped 6 KB off the download file size. Installing this version over previous versions is fine, it keeps your configuration settings. The installation does not include the .cfg file, they are created on the first run. The uninstallation asks if you want to remove your .cfg files.
24 Dec 02 - AlphaSpy 1.1 is released. It has better error detection and a new feature which lets the user specify the location of Half-Life.

Here you are able to download the latest version of AlphaSpy.
The current version is 1.4. The file is 68.8 KB in size.
You may need to download the Visual Basic 6 runtime library for AlphaSpy to work. You can download it right here.
Other files that your computer may not have installed include MSWINSCK.OCX and MSFLXGRD.OCX. You only need to download these if AlphaSpy gives an error message saying that they are missing. Unzip these to either your system, system32 or AlphaSpy directory.
