Now for my latest ride, a 2007 Honda VTX 1300!
The colour is Titanium and this is it still in the rack before they unpacked it at Causeway Honda in Perth. I'm very pleased with the deal they did for me and recommend them to anyone buying a new Honda, thanks to Steve Ford the sales rep.
The bike was delivered to Billy's on lucky Friday July 13th 2007. I got there as it was being unloaded and we got straight into it, having the sidecar mounted that night. The next day we did the foot controls and wiring, so it was ready for me to ride it home that afternoon.
I've taken the first pictures off and here are the most recent ones of the bike in my driveway at home. I've done over 19000 kms in the last 7 months. After only about 2 weeks with the bike and around 1500 km's I then did a 2 week 6300 km ride with Billy up to Exmouth, across to Broome and back to Perth via Kalgoorlie.
The bike has a few little extras now to tidy it up and it's seen here the way I ride it to work every day, with the detachable bag on the back I carry my stuff to work in. Also the sidecar's been painted up nice now by my friend Bill, so it looks a nice rig now.
The extras I've added are as follows,
Cobra mufflers, gear rack, chrome tail light surround, Kuryakyn air filter cover, chrome petrol cock and surround, chrome choke knob cover, chrome radiator cover, chrome horn cover, chrome dipstick, chrome saddlebag holders/guards, Auburn leather saddlebags and rack bag and an effective 22" touring windshield. Also a set of short ape hanger handlebars donated by Billy to make riding easier one-handed.
