This simple fansite pays homage to the cutting edge Anime Film known around Western and Eastern denizens as AKIRA. More importantly, this film has been involved with inspiring the generations of anime to come. That is, AKIRA is highly regarded as a pioneer in Highly-Detailed Animation and also remains a Landmark achievement, even by today's demanding standards! Another thing, the content of this fan site is entirely derived from the Australian and New Zealand DVD release of AKIRA: Special Edition (I do not have the Time to research related sources; I maintain this site for leisure ha!). This distinction must be made as the synopsis of the film is modified and varied from the original Manga (Japanese comics) release of AKIRA. Similarly, the content showcased on this website will lack the depth of those characters originally described in manga form (it consists of over 2000 pages!).

Finally, to put those curious thoughts of your's to rest, the large text and ugly, yet simple design of this Akira fanpage is supposed to create a Reader-Friendly environment, as well as the numerous Capital letters you will come across. You might also notice few eye-candy (pictures, media) as your sole purpose and existence will be to read.
