06/04/03 [Alfie] Ok, I've found a new server and have uploaded some new wallpapers. Also released an e-book for council members (check in the forums)! The download links have also been fixed and should be working now, please report any further broken links in the support section of the forums. 03/04/03 [Alfie] Hey, all Due to the fact that the server I was hosting files on "ran out of space!" , I was unable to upload for a while. As of today the server still has not been fixed so I've only been able to add an e-book which was strongly requested : The Art of War! Don't worry though, the existing downloads should still work. I will also try to find a new server to host future files. If this is not possible, I will have to host new files on servers which require the XionPress Downloader (Usually I only use this for larger files since people on slower connections may not have the downloader program and may only wish to download smaller files such as e-books). However, I strongly recommend you download the program (even if you're only on 56k), thus allowing me to host "larger" files on "faster" hosts. Please post any e-book/anything requests in the forums! 13/02/03 [Alfie] Hey all, haven't posted for a while...anyways, I've added a bunch of wallpapers in the "downloads" section and also uploaded a new program I wrote recently. Further, I'll be heading overseas for a while so there probably won't be material updates until I get back on the 25th this month. That is unless any of the other high council members decide to get off their lazy back ends and start uploading new material :) (hehe....joking, I know most of you are either busy at work or preparing for the start of next semester). As you will notice, the last few updates have been BIG, it was my hope and intention for them to keep members occupied for a while, atleast until I get back. However, the forums will always be active and you are welcome to post anything of interest or chat with other members...I will too, depending on availablility of internet access. Cheers, Alfie |

14/01/03 [Lord Xion] First of all welcome back...as of today the site name will no longer be called the illuminati: the enlightened but will be changed to XionPress: The place to be! ....However I stress this is only a cosmetic alteration and the structure of the site will remain as before. Apart form the above I have FINALLY found a decent host to carry our site's forums, the only problem is that with the change over all previous data on the old forum has been lost. As a result all members will need to register again....my deepest apologies to all. Since I now have more spare time to edit the site it is my hope that many of you will give me suggestions as to what features you desire on XionPress. Thanks again for your loyalty to this site and we promise future updates will not be so far apart.... :) |
27/11/02 [Excellentor] - Paladin has submitted the site's first official publication, look for it here.
- The site is now back on track and improvements will be implemented very soon. Currently, due to issues with our server providers, bandwidth usage problems have forced us to delay any public launch for another week or so, until we can find a server to host our forum and site which is capable of supporting more users. This problem is expected to be fixed within the next few days, though at the moment usage by the existing number of members will still be supportable. - Also many of you have been asking for some guidelines about what will be accepted as publications on this site, please refer to the following for some direction: The XionPress Handbook

16/11/02 [Excellentor] OK, I've fixed the site so that it can be viewed properly in 1024x728 res. If any of you are still having problems, either increase your screen resolution{PM me in the forums if you don't know how to!} or get a better monitor! (hehe...just kiddin, leave me a message and I'll see if I can reduce the size even further!). Also, any of you who visit this site, please register in the forums as this is the only way I can monitor member traffic accurately. Also since the site isn't going to be launched until the 26th or later, signing up will allow me to email you when we get things going here! Sorry for the delay, but most of the people running this site are very busy at the moment...but hopefully the pace will pick up in two weeks or so....
