Wakatang Kennels

Wakatang Kennels is a small breeding program, concentrating on health tested animals who are raised with our children.  Our dogs are bred for quality, soundness and temperament.  All breeding stock is tested for the known hereditary diseases (heart, patella, kidney and deafness).

We are located in the south / eastern region of semi rural Victoria and have had Bullies since both Hugh and I were 18 years old.

We like to see our bullies living in family homes and as pets rather than living in kennels, we have three permanent bullies in our home at anyone time who each have their own lounge in front of the open fire or air conditioner.

 We will only sell a puppy if we are both convinced that it will have a happy life in a permanent and loving home and get the care and attention that it deserves.

 We consider that all of our dogs are pets first and show dogs second.

Bull Terriers are great dogs and make wonderful loyal companions.  Once you have had a Bull Terrier no other dog will do, but in saying this they are not for everyone and can be extremely naughty and destructive.
