Welcome to the maintenance management web site.  The purpose of this site is to provide maintenance practitioners with a guide and tools that may make life easier in the real world.  The basic model of PLAN-DO-CHECK-ACT provides the basis for most of the key elements required to run a successful maintenance operation.

For the maintenance management process to be effective, each component of the PLAN-DO-CHECK-ACT model must be in place.  If the organisation is in a reactive mode which it is struggling to break out of, it is helpful to focus everything you have on getting the PLAN-DO foundations right.  When in control, then start developing the CHECK-ACT systems.
