KK Keyboarder

computer-based training for office staff

update 2008 now available

Office-based staff (like all employees) are required to have OH&S training. Compensation claims for issues such as RSI (or occupational overuse syndrome) are still common, and can be prevented. Other office safety issues also exist. Keyboarder ensures that all employees have had formal training in basic ergonomics and safety concepts relating to office, keyboard, and screen-based equipment work.

You have probably provided expensive adjustable furniture for your staff, but have they been trained to use it properly? This can now be done for as little as $20-$50 per workstation (depending on size of your organisation).

Keyboarder does all this and more, for all office staff (even the "temp" can do it) and ensures you have provided training as required by the Occupational Health and Safety Act in your state.

IHC specialists (in ergonomics, occupational medicine and education) have been involved with office safety, ergonomics, and prevention of RSI, for over 20 years. The KK Keyboarder program uses this experience - and is built with modern educational concepts. With Keyboarder you have the benefit of our experience and qualifications, always on tap and delivered consistently to employees. Employees using Keyboarder do the training themselves, on their own desktop or laptop. Keyboarder is interactive, and provides feedback and updates with continued use in refresher training. Time required for the induction training of a new employee: about 20 minutes.

A one-day Training Workshop for HR staff and office managers is now available, in how to use the CBT to best advantage, and about office safety and ergonomics.
