Welcome. 

Welcome to Han Seung Hun (Eddie) 2^nd Dan/poom and his brother Jung Ho (Denny) 1^st Dan/poom, from Seoul, South Korea. Also welcome William Barmore, Matthew Elphick, Liam Huntley, Michael Kitto, Jordan & Tiana Marsden, Samantha & Cooper Pearce, Darien Pollard, Ryan Family: Rebecca, Caitlyn and Ben, Bradley Shaw (from England),  & Craig Kean.  

Congratulations to Kyle & Krystal on the birth of their son Rook.

Also congratulations to Mr B (Tony) on celebrating his 70^th Birthday.  

Mini Olympics.

During the two weeks of the Beijing Olympics our clubs celebrated with our own games, which

Culminated in a three way play-off of soccer.

Congratulations to T.K.O. (total knock out) who were the overall winners. Terminators and Spirit Warriors had to play-off for an extremely close second and third.

Everyone seemed to be well into the spirit of the Olympics with banners, team songs and chants all created for the games. Matthew Elphick deserves special mention when he even created his own matching belt and headband. All teams received a gold medal for their participation.  

Coming up: 

Interclub friendly with Raeburn Taekwondo and Southern Vales Taekwondo/Hapkido are coming to Woodend Primary School (home of Diamond Taekwondo & Hapkido) on the 20^th of September. Events will include Poomse (patterns) and full contact sparring. Competition will begin at 9.00am sharp.  

Grandmaster Sung Soo Lee will be with us again from 31^st October – 2^nd November, to hold seminars

The next club grading will be held on the 24^th September.

Final grading for the year is 13^th December with Club party and presentations on the 20^th December.
