Sponsorship
Have you ever considered sponsorship packages? Currently we run sponsored race packages for many different types of businesses and sporting groups. Businesses usually invite their most important people to be a part of the day as either a reward or an opportunity to discover new business. It is an invaluable way to communicate your marketing message whilst entertaining valued guests in an environment they’ll long remember.
We have a few choices where you can either have individual races on a day and be part of the festivities with others, or as some businesses and organisations do, take a full day of racing and on-sell the other races to suppliers or supporters. This gives the opportunity to have naming rights to the whole race day and the people that you invite are part of your day.
The Ballina Jockey Club is fully supportive and most of the organising is done by us. You just have to turn up and be prepared to have fun!

Individual race sponsorship For each race you sponsor, you get:
q 10 sponsors guests tickets which allows Ø 10 people entry onto race course Ø Entry for your guests to our exclusive sponsors room q Finger food for all guests q Drinks including beer, red and white wines and soft drinks for each guest q RSA certified person to serve drinks at the bar to your guests q Naming rights to one horse race which may include one or all: Ø Your company name mentioned in newspaper form guides around Australia Ø Sky Channel television broadcasts coverage of your race and mention of your company name Ø Your company name mentioned on the Ballina Jockey Club racing semaphore board on race day Ø Your company name mentioned on the race and full page black and white advertisement in the on-course race book is available Ø Radio coverage of your race through 2KY (excluding Saturdays) q Opportunities to include banners around the course on the day q Free Race book for all guests
Standard Cost:
Standard cost is $770.00 per race including GST ($77.00 per person). We will send a tax invoice for the total amount prior to race day. Whole race day sponsorship.
As per individual race sponsorship, but multiplied by the total number of races. Option to name the race day (i.e. “Joe Bloggs” Raceday) and to theme the day to suit your business.
Standard Cost: Ø Total race day cost is $3,850.00 per Saturday (usually 5 races, i.e. 5 x $770.00 = $3,850.00) Ø Monday to Friday meetings excluding any public holidays (usually 7 or 8 races) either $5,390.00 or $6,160.00 depending on number of races Ø Sunday and Public Holidays (usually 7 or 8 races). $6,160.00 per day. We will send a tax invoice for the total amount prior to race day and all prices are including GST.
Food can be ‘upgraded’ if required. Our pleasant and helpful caterers will assist you in making any changes. |
