The BALI HOUSE is centrally located in Bridgetown 800 metres south of the Post Office, and 200 metres north of the Blackwood River amid tangled and rambling gardens.

Local restaurants, craft shops and cafes are all within easy walking distance. With private off-street parking the BALI HOUSE is conveniently located for day trips to regional attractions.
The BALI HOUSE is a unique rammed-earth cottage with a soaring 8 metre high communal ceiling. Ideal for the romantic getaway or for a catch-up with close friends. Balinese Gods peer benevolently from alcoves built within its internal walls.

The floor area to the BALI HOUSE exceeds 100 square metres and the verandah area more than 30 square metres.  The main living, sleeping and cooking areas are split-level and open-plan.  A powerful slow-combustion fire makes for cozy winter nights.
Views from the verandah include the Geegeelup Brook, scattered mossy black granite boulders, and stands of tall trees. Restful symphonies of frog and birdsong abound.

Occupation of this property can  be traced to the 1800s when Bridgetown was known as the "Geegeelup Settlement".
Early pioneers arrived by horse and cart to meet with the district land guide at Allview House (built c.1888) prior to setting out to their land grants.  Allview House adjoins the BALI HOUSE by a covered walkway.

Maximum number of beds able to be suppied is 3 doubles and 2 camp beds.  Additional accommodation charges will apply, above the base accommodation rate, when more than one bed is required
