Request for Prayer:
These can be made to any Session member or the Pastor prior to the worship service.
Pigeon Holes:
All members are allocated a pigeon hole located in the Church foyer. All subscribed material and other printed matter for interest will be passed on via this system.
Lord’s Supper:
Is celebrated bi-monthly in both worship services. In this part of God’s family we practice a ‘supervised’ communion. This means that visitors or guests are asked to make themselves known to the Pastor or one of the Elders as one whose faith rests in Jesus and as being, a member in good standing in their own church.
Baptism:
The Sacrament is administered only to believers and their children. At least one of the parents must be a communicant member of the Church. Please contact the Pastor or one of the elders.
Profession of Faith:
Pre-Confession classes are conducted by the Pastor, leading to Profession of Faith, and this may be arranged with the minister and elders at any time during the year.
Weddings:
The Church can only be involved in a marriage between believers who seek to marry in the Lord, though they need not be members of this church or denomination. The minister can only conduct weddings (even of a private nature) with the approval of Session. A course of pre-marriage counseling is required at least two months before the even, and attention is drawn to the Federal Law which states that a Notice of Intent must be made to the officiating minister at least one calendar month before the intended wedding date.
Church Letter:
The Church Letter is a weekly publication which contains a short and challenging "Think it Over", and some pastoral words from the pastor for the edification of the congregation.
Diaconal Care:
A ministry in which our deacons seek to extend the love of the Lord Jesus Christ through material assistance to those in need both within the church and beyond.
