Homepage "REGETH" Reg Morgan says..........................
Did you see this on the road?

REGETH being my car registration stemming from....
an acronym for ( REGinald &
ETHel Morgan)
Deeply missed Mum & Dad.
They always knew I loved the outdoors, and if not for them my creation would not have eventuated.
I wanted a camper/trailer that was............
Lightweight, Low profile, Configurable, Strong, Comfortable, Compact, Easily erected, Ample storage space, No wet or flapping canvas, No guy ropes to hang myself or others with, and inexpensive. I couldn't find one........
So I BUILT ONE !!

Picture taken at Lake Hume Weir Albury/Wodonga. June 05. You'd normally see water in background but drought is impacting on so many.
Beginning with a 7x4 box trailer I had previously built
50mm steam pipe axle, 13" Torana hubs and rims, 25x50x3 mm RHS chassis, 25mm RHS side frames with panel steel, and 3mm Aluminium tread plate floor.
All upper frame sections are either 20mm steel or aluminium RHS. and as you can see, cladded with white aluminium caravan cladding.
Without question, the most important aspect of the entire camper is its versatility and lightness. Complete with all the mattresses/bedding, tables, chairs, gazebo (steel poles), waterproof covers, 2 extra stowage boxes, spare wheel, tools, shovel, cooking gear, and more, the entire weight comes in at around 420kg.
Easily one person managed, take any bush track without fear of not turning around.
So low and compact, manages extremely well in city traffic. So much so I almost forget it's hooked up. Hence the whip antenna with flag for other road users to see.
As mentioned, it's very adaptable to suit long term stays or short halts with water/windproof annex erected in seconds.

Without the gazebo shown below, the unit can be fully erected by 1 person in about 4 to 5 minutes.
Pictured here is Ian, (a long time mate) fixing a trailer light when we camped in Geehi prior to Camper/trailers completion. Thanks MATE !
Where the F is Geehi you ask !! hehehehehe
Whether HOT or Freezing nights, the Aluminium and sisalation keeps temperatures moderate and skylight is nice on moonlit nights.
Oh, the bed consists of 4 4" mattresses and about double bed size still leaving a "Truckload" of room. Bed base also folds and moves to center for use as a table with ample room for 4 people to sit around. headroom is not a problem either. I'm 6ft 1" less hair !!! lol
Ok, so I'll now give you a "Full frontal" lol of REGETH

Camper/trailer is not my pride and joy. my 98 VS Statesman Series3 is !!
and for very good reason it is.................... Mum and Dad.
Goddddddddddddd that lake is low !! Thank god some rain has finally fallen (for our farmers)

As for history........
"I miss my Mum's Laughter and Love, my Dad's Wisdom and Wit.
I miss a bloody lot of things, like Dad when he called
me Twit." and Lard Head, and Nincompoop, and not forgetting.... hey Johnny!!
have you been drinking phenyl? hahahaha
Treasuring my childhood, and remembering so much.
Mum
There was nothing she would not do or try. Her perpetual smile caught everyone's eye.
Go on ! go back up and take another look at that wonderful warm smile.
She loved... Cooking, Gardening, Playing Music (organ/piano), Crafts, (knitting, crochet, tapestry) Travel, Shopping unselfishly for others, and so many other feats. and did them all so well.
Mum loved a little flutter on the pokies also. Scared me to death watching her play 1 payline on a 3 ,5 or 9 liner. hahaha But she was so contented doing that.
Only a Morgan knows what Meat Paste & Pasties truly are. Those fabulous recipe's will be eternal.
I bet no-one will ever see this again.......... any Mum sewing up a 16oz canvas tent, on a Singer Treadle Sewing machine........in the back yard...ha ha Capable of anything she was.
Little upset my Mum, She was heard to swear once. The "C" word. I was so Shocked when told of this !!! But it was ok because she said she was quoting from the movie "Officer and a Gentleman. hehehehe
Little bothered Ethel, I wish I had your Tolerance Mum !
As for DAD.. Thanks for 3 things Reggie.. Your Name, your stubborness, and the ugly feet. Talk about in the genes.
A little self righteous at times, but that leans towards that stubborness I guess.
Very social, and loved the beer when doing so.
Boy oh Boy. could he do a crossword !!! However, he'd probably find them hard now with all the politically correct Bullshit about now. It's ok Dad... I have no hestitation in saying our black labrador was named "Nigger" So what eh !
Loved his footy and cricket, and I loved his Ideals, Loyalties and Fairness.
Hmmmmm dunno about the golf club over my head though !! Discipline called for as I recall ha ha
If someone suggested A.D.D. to my Dad now, I bet he'd say it was Adult Discipline Deficiency I digress again.
Dad had so many sayings I couldn't begin to tell all here, but so many ring in my ear and helped me so much.
Words will never ever describe what Mum and Dad have given me. besides LIFE !!
I'd better get a few permissions before I start posting pictures of my family. But for now............. Bye. and if you see the Rego "REGETH" on the road, it will be one hell of a co-incidence...wouldn't it?
a parting quote..........
"It doesn't take much to make an Australian great.
Be Fairdinkum, and look out for your mate."
